In the context of its steady development, ITP is looking for a Project Engineering Manager to join its Engineering Department based in Louveciennes near Paris. This position is a full-time permanent contract.
ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES
Within the Engineering Department and under the direct management of the Engineering Director, the Project Engineering Manager acts as a team leader and a project coordinator on all engineering-related topics, from project early stage until construction phase.
She/He is deeply involved in the efficient roll-out of engineering activities within the company and acts as technical reference on projects both internally and for company, clients and providers.
The Project Engineering Manager’s main responsibilities consist in:
1. Managing a Project Engineering Team :
Team management: day-to-day follow-up, performance assessment, training and skills development, implementation of HR processes within the team
Team activity monitoring: team workload estimate, resources allocation between the projects, project deliverables reporting
2. Driving Project’s engineering activities
Planning and budget inputs for Project engineering activities
Coordinating a pluri-disciplinary engineering team and external engineering resources
Resources management aligned with project requirements: identifying expected and accurate competencies, participating in project recruitments
Leading engineering weekly meetings as well as technical reviews, and following-up the action plan
Identifying potential change orders and preparing the related technical documentation
Coordinating engineering activities during test phases
Interfacing regularly with the fabrication team to ensure that technical design is correctly translated during the fabrication phase
Budget and planning reporting on engineering activities
Contributing to project feedbacks
3. Acting as project technical referent:
Accountable for project engineering quality control and for project compliance with standards, clients’ specifications, QHSE requirements and with internal processes
Identifying project technical risks and monitor related action plans
Management of client requests for clarification/technical deviation
Supervision of engineering inputs to purchase department
Accountable for solving technical issues occurring during the project
Review of construction documents, contribution to resolving technical difficulties related to construction and installation phases
4. Contribution to set up new Engineering tools
Supporting the Engineering Department to set up and update an engineering set of tools
The Engineer Manager is responsible for the accurate application of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards for her/his activities. She/He is exemplary with regard to the QHSE requirements.

Who you are
Graduate in Engineering Sciences with a thermal and/ or mechanical specialization, you can rely on a successful experience of 5 years minimum as Lead Engineer or Project Engineering Manager, in the energy sector. Having participated in pipeline projects will be an advantage.
You are used to working in a project-based, multi-disciplinary team and multicultural context. You have a level of fluency in English (minimum B2 level). Competence in French is a benefit.
Rigorous, equipped with real analysis and synthesis capabilities, you are able to write and/ or validate technical documents, and prepare and manage planning and budget. Pragmatic and proactive, you know how to be a force of proposal to help solve technical or organizational problems.
