ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES
Business growth and successful achievement of projects on the American continent is a strategic objective for ITP Interpipe.
In this view, ITP wants to reinforce the Project management team of the Houston subsidiary.
To fulfill this objective, ITP is seeking a Project manager in HOUSTON.
Reporting functionally to the Projects & Operations Director based in ITP Back-Office in Louveciennes (France) and reports locally to the Project Director based in Houston, the Project Manager is to ensure that the Project is executed in accordance with ITP’s Procedures and Contractual Job Specifications, meeting targets set in terms of HSE and Quality, while achieving schedule constraints and financial objectives. The Project Manager champions HSE & Quality values in line with ITP corporate objectives.
The main roles and responsibilities of the Project Manager will be:
1. Project Kick-off
Establish with the CLIENT and within Project Team, Project vision, goals and success criteria and implement these.
Establish a Project Execution Plan for completion of the Project.
2. Project planning and budgeting
Ensure that a detailed budget is prepared and monitor the Project financial results; initiate any corrective/update action that may be required
Ensure that billing to CLIENT is correctly raised and that payments are received in accordance with the terms of the Contract.
3. Project Organization and Human Resources management
Establish the Project Organization: lines of responsibility, scopes of work, communication channels and decision-making processes, Job descriptions.
Secure sufficient and qualified resources throughout the duration of the Project.
Ensure monitoring, co-ordination and management of the work being performed by all internal and external resources involved in the Project.
4. Lead CLIENT and SUPPLIERS relations
Establish a positive collaborative working relationship with CLIENT and Suppliers/ Subcontractors.
Identify and manage Contract changes.
Monitor claims from Subcontractors.
Ensure proper closing out of the Contract, both with CLIENT and Subcontractors.
5. Compliance with ITP Procedures, Quality system and Safety standards:
Ensure the CONTRACT specification is being fulfilled and that all codes and applicable standards are being met.
Ensure tools are in place to allow real-time monitoring of project KPI.
Ensure all applicable Lessons Learnt from previous Projects are known by the Project Team and implemented.
Put forward a clear understanding of HSES throughout the Project and be seen as positively influencing Safety culture and measures in all Project phases.
Ensure the implementation of an effective Risks and Opportunities Management system.
6. Project reporting
Communicate accurate and timely reporting of Project status to CLIENT and to ITP’s management.
Prepare a Project Close-Out.
WHO YOU ARE
Graduate in Engineering Sciences with a minimum of 10 years of successful experience as Project Manager (leader) on EPC Projects (on Contractor’s side), with significant experience in O&G.
Technical skills / Experiences:
Strong Technical agility
Knowledge of risks (engineering / fabrication / construction) associated with pipelines EPC projects.
Oil and gas technical standards knowledge, including QHSE specificities.
Project Management
Sub-Contractors management
Team / Organization Management
Ability to work in the US. No sponsorship will be provided by the company
